Visiting the area to explore the beautiful Lake District, we enjoyed our stay overall but found some areas needing improvement. The location offered stunning views and easy access to local attractions like Bowness Bay, which we loved. The comfortable beds in our room were a highlight, although the decor felt a bit tired. Service had its ups and downs, with a couple of instances where we had to wait for basic items or assistance.

The hotel maintained its elegant charm, which was lovely! Our stay was delightful, especially enjoying breakfast with a breathtaking view of the lake. The outdoor seating area felt nostalgic, reminiscent of a classic high tea outing, perfect for unwinding with family and colleagues.
In my wife's opinion, the check-in wait could improve. An extension of the children's play area would be beneficial for family guests.

Couple looking for views
Had an excellent view from our room over the lake, just breathtaking! Breakfast was decent, but we expected a bit more from a place like this.
It wasn't exactly affordable but still reasonable for what you get.

Lovely stay with a view
We had a fab time at this hotel! The room was spacious and cozy, and we enjoyed loads of tea/coffee and free cookies. Breakfast was awesome, especially with that lake view. The staff were super nice, always ready to help. Only wish the bar opened a bit earlier. Definitely worth the stay!

The Belsfield Hotel impressed me with its stunning views of Lake Windermere. The decor throughout created a warm and inviting atmosphere, especially with the Laura Ashley touches. I appreciated the friendly staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we checked in. The breakfasts were enjoyable, offering a good variety, although some mornings were a bit chaotic and the food was lukewarm. Our room, the Double Room with Shower and Lake View, was comfortable with lovely furnishings. I found the room too hot, which was uncomfortable, especially without any air conditioning. The shower had some issues, and the bathroom could have been cleaner. Even though the surroundings were beautiful, some cleanliness issues around the hotel affected the overall experience. I also encountered a delay during check-in, which tested my patience a bit.
